Tortuga Vivero
from mid-november to the end of December, help Tortuga vivero (a local turtle sanctuary) release baby turtles in the Pacific ocean at sunset.
Surfing
enjoy surfing in our very own backyard. Surfing lessons are available - includes 2 hours of in-land instruction and water time. We also offer surf board rentals at daily rate.
Fishing
Depending on the time of year, fishing is plentiful. You can cast on the beach in front of the villa, take a boat ride in the ocean or estuary. Fishing gear is available for rent on-site.
Boat Tour
Take a relaxing 3 hour boat ride in the Pacific ocean or in the nearby estuary. This is the best way to see the beautiful landscape of Nicaragua.
Salinas Grandes Day Beach Resort
located by la garita - tucked on the south side of rio chiquito. RENT; KAYAKS, SUP BOARDS, BOOGIE BOARDS OR GO TUBING. Enjoy a locally made lunch or a cold beer. the day resort has a tip pool, showers, lockers and lots of lounging areas.
